Local Small Business Awarded A Statewide Multiple Award Task Order Contract

“This is our second Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract within the last couple of months, which is really exciting for Maven,” said Kathy Parsons, CEO/Managing Member.  “The Ohio MATOC has a base period of two years, with three option years, and the US Property & Fiscal Office of Ohio intends to put up to $20 Million in construction projects out for bid during that time period.  We currently have projects underway locally at NSA Crane, as well as in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and several locations in Puerto Rico.  The Ohio MATOC is a great opportunity because we’ll have numerous opportunities to expand our work into another state, plus Maven’s competition for each of those projects is limited to other awardees.”

In pursuit of the MATOC, Maven competed against other qualified small businesses, submitting an extensive proposal which was evaluated on the basis of past performance, management ability, and safety, as well as the pricing and approach to a sample project.

Based in Odon, IN, Maven provides renovation, new construction, design/build, and abatement services to Department of Defense, U.S. Government, and Industrial clients.
