Why Choose Maven

There are at least three reasons why our clients choose Maven: our wide range of services; our successful quality and safety programs; and our reputation for reliability and professionalism.

So is Maven’s approach effective?

Our clients think so – about 90% of our projects come from those who have worked with Maven before.

Quality & Safety

Maven’s commitment to quality and safety has continuously grown along with our company, beginning with our development and adoption of formal corporate Quality Control and Health & Safety programs.

Maven’s Corporate Quality Control Program is based on the USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors, detailing procedures for consistent documentation; inspection of materials and workmanship; maintenance of schedule and budget; and contract compliance.

Likewise, Maven’s Health & Safety Program ensures that our policies and procedures meet or exceed industry standards such as USACE EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations. Our Health & Safety Program Manager is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).

Maven also prepares project-specific Quality Control and Health & Safety plans for client approval before starting field work; and in order to ensure that our standards are upheld, Maven superintendents and project managers receive and maintain a minimum OSHA 30-hr and USACE CQM certification, as well as any required specialized training toward specific tasks.

Reliability & Professionalism

Maven is dedicated to building lasting partnerships with our clients by providing exceptional craftsmanship, responsive action, and service-oriented professionalism.

We are aware that our reputation is not based on a single excellent project, but on consistent excellence across every project, and we do that by providing consistent quality, competitive estimating, clear communication, and rigorous safety standards.

To these ends, Maven begins working towards customer satisfaction from the moment we receive a request for proposal, putting a priority on Best Value/Lowest Risk technical approach and pricing at every step.

By preparing an accurate estimate, we reduce or eliminate the need for change orders.

Upon award, Maven meets with client representatives, key subcontractors, and designers/engineers in order to clarify schedule and performance objectives before beginning field work.

During execution, Maven maintains project quality, schedule, safety, and budget, as well as open communication with owner representatives through ongoing documentation and reporting.

At closeout, Maven provides any additional remaining required documentation such as as-built drawings, warranties, and O&M manuals.

In short, it is Maven’s goal to be the best contractor experience our clients have ever had.
