In October 2017, Maven Construction & Environmental, LLC was selected to be one of up to five Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) contractors eligible to compete for Task Orders under the Design-Build/Design-Bid-Build Construction Multiple Award Task Order Contractor (MATOC) for USACE Tulsa District.
As is typical with two-phase solicitations, the first round proposals were evaluated on factors such as Past Performance, Experience, Safety, Quality Control, and Management Effectiveness; offerors who presented the highest qualifications and lowest risk were invited to submit a second round of proposals demonstrating their technical approach and pricing for defined sample projects.
Each MATOC has a 3-year base period with two 1-year options; the combined contract capacity is $49 Million over the five years. Task Orders solicitations will include design-build and construction services, primarily for plumbing, heating and air conditioning (HVAC); other types of sustainment, restoration and modernization work may also be requested as part of the requirements and time constraints for military, civil, and Interagency and International Services (IIS) customers within Southwestern Division (SWD) Tulsa District boundaries. The Tulsa District encompasses Oklahoma, southern Kansas, and the Texas panhandle.
Based in Odon, IN, Maven is an SBA Certified 8(a) Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business providing renovation, new construction, design/build, and abatement services to Department of Defense, U.S. Government, and Industrial clients.
